Helping Children Excel in Life with Our Preschool, Pre-K and Kindergarten Programs
Our Preschool and Kindergarten programs are based on the belief that children learn through play and fun. Children construct their knowledge by touching, cooking, baking, tasting, smelling, watching, listening, thinking, singing, dancing, learning new languages and doing. Our child-centered curriculum encourages decision-making, autonomy, and social competence. Therefore, the exploration of music and movement, science and nature, families and culture, cooking and baking, art and drama, and language and math skills are integrated into our personalized curriculum for Little Scholars. In addition, indoor and outdoor activities are planned according to individual needs and developmental differences.
In addition to our regular curriculum, Little Scholars also enjoy Fun Fridays every week with various fun activities from crafts and games to songs and food.
LITTLE SCHOLARS' SPECIAL BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!
A birthday is a big deal -- especially for your little one. And if you decide to throw a party for their friends here, you are welcome to do so. For many children their birthday is their favorite holiday. And why not? We dedicate an entire day on your child's birthday singing his/her favorite songs, serving a special sweet of the day along with their favorite lunch and snack ensuring that everyone has a good time on that day!
FAMILY INVOLVEMENT
At Little Scholars Learning Center, we host a parent night every 6 months where you can come watch your children perform, dance, sing, or read in their newly learned music, dance and language! You can see all the developmental aspects we teach your child daily and we welcome your input.
About Director Poornima Kulkarni
Poornima Kulkarni has a Masters and an MS degree in Psychology and Human Resource Management and she was the University First Rank Holder as well as a gold medalist. She has certification in French and Sales and Marketing, and has teaching credentials in Early Childhood Studies from Ohlone College, CA. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA and has since created customized instructions for Preschoolers, Pre-K , Kindergarten and school-age children. Her hobbies include music, gardening, cooking, leaning new languages, and interior designing. She is very proficient with 5 Indian Languages and also have Certification in French and German.
